Creating is core to who we are as a family. We’re passionate about creativity in all its forms. And we’re committed to shaping the future of the creator community. We’re excited to share our ideas and experiences with the amazing community that’s given so much to us!
We started this journey in 2019 when — like so many of you — we were just trying to have fun and connect with people. We were doing what we loved to do, and it showed.
As a creator, there’s always the chance that one video or post will begin to get attention at a faster pace than even you expected. And maybe, even, "go viral." That’s what happened to us. That huge wave of online connections turned our hobby into a real job and set us on a path to where we are now.
We were so fortunate. With lots of support we were projected onto the world stage. We knew that life would change, but we couldn’t have anticipated the true enormity of what was about to happen.
Here’s what we did know: No matter what came our way, we would continue being the close-knit family that we are. Our followers could see that our love for each other came first, and making fun content together came next. We worked together to ensure that every member of our family (dogs included!) was allowed to pursue their passions while staying grounded.
We try to keep a work-life balance. But how is that possible? We stay focused on the projects we do by being very selective of who we work with. We also have a great team around us. They help keep us organized and on track with projects. Plus, we always want to have enough time to create good, quality content before we say yes to any project.
So, we asked ourselves, “How do we bottle up what we’ve done and give it back to the community so that others can have the same opportunities?”
We knew that opening up doors and sharing ideas can empower creating for everyone. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Lightricks. We have shared values of supporting creators wherever they are in their journey.

Marc, Heidi, Dixie and Charli D'Amelio are the first family of social media. Their internet super-stardom began in Norwalk, Connecticut, in 2019, when two sisters — competitive dancer Charli and music artist Dixie — became top creators on TikTok. Together they have more than 200 million followers.
